Our Head Professional Joel Dowland started the game of golf at the age of 15 and quickly turned professional at 18. He was fully qualified with the PGA at the age of 21. 

He was a Junior and Men’s Club Champion at different golf clubs and was the youngest ever winner of the Lincolnshire PGA Championship. He has also represented the UAE PGA in the annual Dubai Golf Trophy that is played between the best Pro’s against the best Amateurs. 

Since qualifying he has taught golf to golfers of all ages and abilities from 3 years of age to scratch golfers and has taught golf to over 40 different nationalities around the world most notably Spain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

 He has been back in the UK since 2007 and before joining Redhill & Reigate Golf Club in July 2009 was teaching golf in Croydon

Our golf shop at Redhill and Reigate Golf Club can supply all your basic golfing needs from tees and golf balls to clothing for all seasons together with the all important drinks and snacks to keep you going until your return to the "19th".

We have both electric and pull trolleys available to hire and can also arrange for club hire if booked in advance.

We are also able to offer a very competitive club repair service. Our Head Professional  Joel Dowland will be only to happy to advise on specific repairs and as an indication selected repair charges are as follows:-

Re-gripping from £5 per club

Re-shafting from £30 per club

Re-glueing from £5 per club

Joel is always ready and willing to give advice on all aspects of the game from interpretation of golfing rules to the selection of your new set of clubs or bag or trolley.
