The course was laid down in 1887 and is the second oldest in Surrey and to look at some of our members you might think they were here at the beginning!  There are good reasons for this.  They are loyal because:

• The course is a delight: Not too long (5272 yards off the white tees), can be played in under 4 hours – 2.5 hours as a brisk 2 ball.  A tree lined walk, not spoiled.
• The golfing test is fair and challenging enough to bring you back for more.  Accuracy is at a premium.
• The greens are superb – reckoned to be among the best in the County.
• All the holes have something different to offer – from the 126 yard par three to 469 yard par four, stroke index 1, fifteenth.
• There are well organised junior, main club, seniors, men and ladies sections, offering social and competitive golf throughout the year – newcomers are always welcome.  Our aim is to integrate new members into the club asap.
• The clubhouse is comfortable and unstuffy.  Smart casual is the dress code.
• The bar is well stocked, and the post golf snacks menu enticing.
• As a members club we try to ensure you are made to feel quickly at home, and that you are valued whatever your handicap!
